Prepare-Enrich – certified to administer the Prepare-Enrich to premarital couples as well as those who have been in a committed relationship for a lengthy period of time.  Prepare-Enrich can be taken as a sole assessment or used in conjunction with relational therapy.  Also train other professionals to be certified in this tool.

Children of Alcoholics – extensively trained to provide services to both children as well as adults who grew up in an alcoholic family.  Oftentimes offspring of alcoholics don’t understand how life issues, such as difficulty trusting others or expressing feelings, can be the result of growing up in an alcoholic environment, making it difficult to interact or be intimate with others.

Premarital Work – often done with couples who are planning to marry within a year.  Premarital work may focus on resolving conflict between partners and/or provide an opportunity for couples to strengthen their relationship before marriage.

Sexual  Abuse/Incest  –  often referred to as “Soul Murder” due to the potential long term damage to an individual’s psyche.  Therapy can alter such potential damage and provide hope, less residual victimization, and greater empowerment. Treatment in this area may include individual therapy, group therapy, or a combination of both.

Trauma – like sexual abuse/incest, other trauma can have a debilitating impact on an individual.  The therapeutic process aids the person in working through the traumatic event(s) and resultant intrapersonal and interpersonal difficulties.

Teaching – experienced in writing, designing, and teaching graduate courses in a number of areas related to family therapy and counseling psychology.

Consultation  – work with licensed mental health professionals who  wish to consult about cases or therapeutic strategies, orientations, and techniques.

Supervision – provide on-going supervision to post-graduate individuals seeking licensure as well as  those seeking the AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation.

Psychological Testing – assess individuals, couples, and families via the use of personality, mental health, and couples/family instruments.  Able to train and supervise others in psychological testing.
